Second Post

I am currently arguing with the parentals about my wanting to take another year out.  I took one before studying to ensure I took the right course as was stuck between two.  Now I have graduated I feel I need another to allow me breathing space before entering the working world.  They think it shows a lack of focus on my behalf and that I would rather rest than play.  Has anyone else done the double?

I think it depends upon what you do during the course of your year out.  If you are just using it to rest and play, then perhaps it might be badly received, but if you volunteer during it, it might be perceived as worthy.
