Has anyone come to the end of their degree and started to question it's real worth?  I am just not sure what exactly my studies have taught me which can be translated into a worthwile, long term career.

To be honest when I finished my degree, even though it was not a vocational subject, I felt like I had really achieved something and I was very proud of what I'd done. I came to uni to study and to get a degree and I had a fantastic experience all the way through, so I don't regret going at all!

When I finished my degree, I was disappointed with my grade, and especially disappointed with my dissertation mark, when I thought I'd done quite well in it. However, this didn't mean I thought I'd done the wrong degree. It was a good experience and I enjoyed the studying. I think a degree is worth it if you learnt a lot from it, which I certainly did (both academically, and from an independence point of view).

At a time when degrees are ten a penny you are bound to find some element of loss of value to your studies. However, it is not necessarily about the piece of paper but the valuable life experience garnered through a degree.
