Does anyone have any advice with regards to decent accommodation in London? I graduated this year and I am due to start a new job in the City very soon and I need to find somewhere with decent facilities that isn't a rat infested hole ... any ideas?

Yeaa.... loads of good places to live!! I found that as a recent grad it's much easier to find accomodation than as a student, as most landlords assume the partying stops the day your diploma fall through the door :) If you are going to be working in the City, basically anything in zone 2 is good, as your commute wont be too long. Shoreditch is considered 'hip' and walking distance to the city, which means you'll save on travel expenses and you can avoid the tube on rush hour!
Any areas in london you have in mind at the moment? West and North london are nice too and central and northern line have good service, so keep that in mind!

It is a lot of searching, which is tiring and hard work but if you look long enough you will find somewhere.
