Is there anything about your workplace that really gets on your nerves?! If so, what?

The thing that gets on my nerves are office cliques! There are some groups of people that just tend to stick together and not let anybody near them, even if it's just for a friendly chat! I think that it's best if colleagues are friends rather than just having a working relationship, but the cliques make it impossible!

I think it has to be meetings! I don't like being in that stifled situation and you feel constantly under pressure as who knows when you will suddenly be called upon to answer a question - gulp! I always like it when you come out and think "yes, it's over!"

People eating noisily at lunch :P

Seriously though, I think it has to be when people step on your toes. It's very annoying when somebody else seems to be encroaching into what would essentially fit under your job description, and yet if you approach them about it, they act like the victim! I do think that everybody needs to respect the roles other people play and shouldn't be afraid to ask them for help.

People coughing and spluttering without putting their hands over their mouth. In an office environment, or in fact anywhere, it's just plain manners to do that! And relax... :-)

Bad hygiene annoys me. The worst thing is a co-worker who smells badly. I used to work with a guy who was so bad that he appeared to have formed a layer of wax around his neckline. Thankfully our manager asked him to shower at least once every week, though had to strike a deal of once every 2 weeks(!?!)

What?! That's ridiculous (and very funny of course!) ;)

The thing that annoys me is office politics. They create a very negative atmosphere; favouritism and things like that...
