Hi all,

I graduated in a degree subject I hated but couldn't withdraw from my course as I didnt have the money to pay off my fees straight away, so I continued with it and graduated, but now want to work in PR.  I've spent the last year temping at various PR agencies such as McCann Erickson Birmingham, working on some great accounts like Harley Davidson, and getting trained in social media marketing and online brand reputation management. I'm hoping to get into Fashion PR (preferably), I have experience in this industry, but would also be very happy in Travel/Leisure PR.

My writing skills have been commended at every agency i've worked at so I know the press releases, positioning statements, mission statements and blogs i've written are strong enough for the role I hope to get.

Does anyone have any advice about getting an entry level job in an agency as I'm still struggling to land my first permanent account executive role? McCan currently do not have vacancies for a suitable role and ideally I would like to be working in a London agency.

Thank you!
