I am currently compiling my CV and have realised how dull it actually is, how much potential damage do little white lies do? For example, when I was younger I had my own little babysitting business - we had business cards and everything - can I say that I was c.e.o? Or, I was features writer for the student paper - do i have to say that I only wrote 2 features the whole time at the paper? |

Don't do it. Inevitably you are going to say things that contradict (how small they might be). Also, if employers pick up on your little white lie, they might think its the tip of the iceberg and not know what to believe anymore.
Also, recruiters and HR people have a trained eye to spot this kind of CV 'pimping'... |
