This may be a bit of a random one, but I am considering doing either of the above and wondered if anyone had done? |

I went on Camp America about 4 summers ago. I had an amazing time but spent the little money I earnt travelling around afterwards. The experience itself was pretty consuming, spending all day every day looking after children is rewaring yet tiring. There is little chance for freedom and given the camp's awkward location there was little in the area to do with the short time you had free. Afterwards I relished in the freedom of travelling backpack around America but came home two weeks early as had little left in terms of travel money after entertaining myself in the local area to the camp for the 6 week duration. |

I've often wondered about taking this option. Obviously I am too late in applying for it this time round. I would be fairly nervous to do it alone, I would LOVE to do this with one or a group of friends. I would love to explore America afterwards, I might do this in a year's or so time so I could save up some money to travel afterwards as someone said that they run out of money after a while...
